baseball cards?

I have hundreds of cards from 2000-2002, when i used to collect I have not checked for Beckett in the last five years or so, but is smart in the long run to sell now or wait a few years? is likely to be worth some good voice 10,20,30 years?

There were millions of cards produced in that period of time, so it is unlikely to make too much money. If you want to wait several years for see what the players were rookies at the time, then it is likely that the way forward. But I would say it is generally difficult to do too much on the cards because offer is so great.
