You know bonsai nurseries by Japanese in southern California?

Japan is famous for its art of bonsai. The increase of bonsai has become my hobby since 11/2006. As I learn more about the art of bonsai, I realize that your see bonsai trees at Walmart or HomeDepot hardly qualifies as bonsai by any standard. I know of none. My father was a gardener and some of the gardeners did as a hobby. Making a living making art is difficult and long term as it are realizing. There are some groups in Southern California, is a Shohim Bonsai Society and meet monthly.
